The Friends of Carmel Forest invite you to help enhance and preserve Carmel-by-the-Sea's beloved urban forest. Here are a few ways you can make a difference:

Membership
Become a member (or renew your annual membership) and receive a free tree!

As a resident of Carmel-by-the-Sea, you are eligible for assistance in selecting an appropriate planting location on your property. Friends of Carmel Forest can also help you plant your tree.

Our Monterey Pines, Monterey Cypress, or Coast Live Oaks come from local, native plant nurseries.

The trees are then raised and nurtured by student of MEarth: Hilton Bialek Habitat at Carmel Middle School.

Planting and watering these trees will help keep Carmel's historic forest beautiful and healthy for the future.
